| People(Mandy) have complained to me that I never update this. I have another blog that I like much better so I switched to that. | My sister is going to be spending the night with me tomorrow night on her way to Iowa. Normally this would be fine, but we are having some issues. Well, we always have issues. Really the main issue is that she doesn't accept me for who I am so she feels the need to run our relationship as if I am one of her 7th graders. Gah. I wish that we could be close, but I don't see it ever happening. She sent me a 4 page letter talking about our problems and our different communication styles. It was extremely overwhelming and I still have a hard time reading parts of the letter because all it does is hurt my feelings all over again. I responded with a paragraph and I have a feeling that that paragraph didn't quite go over like I had hoped. I just have this feeling that tomorrow night is going to suck.
I've not been posting here as much. I have a livejournal account and I kind of like their site a little better. It's become my latest online addiction. As though I need another one of those. Oy. | | |
| Ugh. I'm volunteering to work at the Chicago Distance Classic on Sunday mornging. I have to be there at freakin 4:30 am. Sick. What is up with runners running so early in the morning? Are they crazy?
Oh boy. The CW network is doing mall tours. I feel like it's the 80's again. lol. Who wants to go to Old Orchard Mall with me in September and mock it. And maybe wear green and some leg warmers. Ooh, and a Debbie Gibson t-shirt. | | |
| Yay, my computer is back! They replaced the logic board. It's so great because not only is my computer working again, but also it didn't cost me anything. Hoorah! | | |
| Well, it's back to work and thankfully I am working by myself. This is so much better. I can do whatever I want whenever I want. So if I want to take the girls out, I don't have to wait for anyone else to be ready. Sadly though I don't have my computer this week. The screen on it kept going black randomly. It was really driving me nuts. Hopefully I'll have it back by the end of the week and it will be fixed! | | |
